The Venture Business Division initiates and nurtures new businesses which are synergistic to our existing core businesses, thus enabling us to maintain our focus and Sdn Bhd capitalize on our strengths. The company under this Division is Texchem Sustainable (formerly known as Texchem Polymers) which is involved in biopolymer research and development and design and product development. Texchem Sustainable Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Texchem Polymers Sdn Bhd) produces TEXa, a patented and USDA certified durable bio-plastic that can be reused multiple times and has been used to develop consumer goods.

With the establishment of a polymer R&D centre in 2001, the Division successfully developed versatile bio-based materials that are suitable for sheet extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding. As we move into the future, we are focused on enhancing our facilities and capabilities to accommodate medical and life science industries.
